Product Description
Hand-braided in India from 100% denim cotton, this 23 cm x 76 cm stair tread from the Braided Chindi collection combines eco-friendly recycled materials with artisanal craft. The design alternates concentric bands of natural woven tones with multi-tonal denim blues, ranging from deep indigo to washed chambray. Its sturdy, braided flatweave structure creates a pronounced, ribbed texture underfoot while presenting a casual, modern rustic aesthetic.
Sized specifically for standard indoor steps, this durable stair tread adds comfort, grip, and sound dampening to timber or painted wooden staircases. The mix of denim and warm natural fibres complements coastal, farmhouse, and contemporary interior styles. Pair it alongside light oak railings, crisp white risers, or natural jute runners in hallways and entrances for a cohesive, textural finish.
